Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. is seeking a software engineer to design, develop and implement software solutions across the full SDLC in Plano, TX.

You will translate requirements into modules, participate in code reviews and design reviews, and help shape data flows for scalable systems. Candidate should have a bachelor’s degree in a related field and 5+ years of experience, with strong JavaScript/React front‑end skills, Java Spring Boot REST APIs, Docker, and CI/CD using Jenkins.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field plus 5 years of experience as Software Engineer or similar.
• Experience with front-end web apps using JavaScript and React.
• Knowledge of Windows and Linux systems and Linux shell in Windows.
• Ability to build UI components compliant with ADA and responsive patterns.
• Experience with Java Spring Boot REST APIs and security, CI/CD with Jenkins, Docker.
• Familiarity with unit testing frameworks (Jest, JUnit, Mockito).
• Experience with cloud and on‑prem environments; AWS services.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and implement software solutions independently.
• Analyze requirements and translate them into application modules.
• Participate in SDLC activities and code reviews to ensure compliance with architecture.
• Assist with design reviews and data flow improvements.
• Plan with managers and analysts to outline proposed solutions.
