JPMorganChase, within the Risk Technology - Wholesale Credit Risk Tech team, seeks a Software Engineer III to join an agile group delivering trusted, scalable technology products.

You will design, develop, test, and deploy secure production code in Java, Spring Boot, and React, while advancing CI/CD and cloud-native solutions.

The role requires 4+ years SDLC experience and a collaborative mindset to improve operational stability and partner with vendors and internal teams.

Qualifications

• 4+ years SDLC experience.
• Hands-on experience delivering system design, development, testing and operational stability.
• Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot and React.
• Proficiency in automation and continuous delivery methods.
• Proficient in all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle.
• Advanced understanding of agile methodologies (CI/CD, Application Resiliency, Security).
• Knowledge of cloud, AI/ML, mobile, etc.

Responsibilities

• Executes creative software solutions and design, developing and troubleshooting complex problems.
• Develops secure production code and reviews code written by others.
• Identifies opportunities to automate remediation of recurring issues to improve stability.
• Leads evaluation sessions with vendors, startups, and teams to drive architectural discussions.
• Leads communities of practice to promote new technologies.
• Contributes to team culture of diversity and inclusion.
