Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a seasoned data engineering professional to design, develop, and implement digital solutions for optimizing Payer operations and metadata, automating payer lifecycle contracts, and measuring payer performance. You will architect end-to-end integrations across cloud-native SaaS, Epic EMR, and data platforms.

You will lead with strong SQL and data warehousing skills, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and explore AI/ML approaches to improve automation and scalability.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with SQL and relational databases.
• Hands-on experience with dimensional data modeling, schema design, and data warehousing.
• Programming in SQL, Python, and other languages to support cloud-based and on-prem data warehousing services.
• Hands-on experience troubleshooting data issues.
• Experience with performance improvements and process improvements.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Architect and Build: design end-to-end integration patterns bridging cloud-native SaaS, Epic EMR, and data platforms.
• Quality and Resilience: conduct testing, debugging, and code reviews to ensure reliable scaling.
• Stakeholder Leadership: act as technical consultant to product and business leads.
• Innovation and AI: explore tools/frameworks; incorporate AI/ML for automation.
• Documentation and Governance: create architecture diagrams and best practices.
• Self Starter: manage ambiguity, ask clarifying questions to meet requirements.
