Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a senior Data Engineer to design, develop, and implement digital solutions for optimizing Payer Operations. You will architect data patterns, ensure quality, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to automate the Payer lifecycle and measure performance.

Responsibilities include building end-to-end integration patterns, conducting thorough testing, and driving innovative AI/ML initiatives.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with SQL and relational databases.
• Hands-on experience with dimensional data modeling, schema design, and data warehousing.
• Programming with SQL, Python, and related languages to support cloud-based and on-prem data warehousing services.
• Experience troubleshooting data issues and applying performance improvement techniques.
• Willingness to identify and implement process improvements in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Architect and build end-to-end integration patterns bridging cloud-native SaaS and core clinical systems.
• Conduct comprehensive testing, debugging, and code reviews to ensure reliability and scalable performance of the integration layer.
• Act as a technical consultant to Product and Business leads, refining requirements and proposing robust design patterns.
• Explore AI/ML tools and frameworks to drive innovation and automate processes.
• Create and maintain system designs, architecture diagrams, and best practices for platform self-service.
