Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a senior data engineering professional to design, develop, and implement digital solutions for Payer Operations. You will architect end-to-end integration patterns between cloud-native SaaS, Epic EMR, and the Enterprise Data Platform, while leading technical discussions with Product and Business stakeholders.

You will ensure quality through testing, debugging, and code reviews, optimize performance, and explore AI-driven approaches to enhance automation and scalability

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with SQL and relational database management systems.
• Hands-on experience with dimensional data modeling, schema design, and data warehousing.
• Programming and modifying code in languages like SQL, Python, and others to support Cloud based and on-prem data warehousing services.
• Hands-on experience with troubleshooting data issues.
• Hands-on experience with various performance improvement techniques.
• Willingness to identify and implement process improvements, and best practices as well as ability to take ownership to work within a fast-paced, collaborative, and team-based support environment.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Architect & Build: Design end-to-end integration patterns bridging cloud-native SaaS, core clinical systems (Epic EMR), and Enterprise Data Platform.
• Quality & Resilience: Conduct system testing, debugging, and peer code reviews; ensure reliability and scalability of the integration layer.
• Stakeholder Leadership: Act as a technical consultant to Product and Business leads and refine requirements.
• Innovation & AI: Explore tools/frameworks to drive innovation; incorporate AI/ML to improve automation.
• Documentation & Governance: Create and maintain system designs, architecture diagrams, and best practices.
