Job summary

MissionEdge Technologies seeks an experienced Software Engineer to enhance a Spring Boot application that processes terabytes of enterprise data weekly. The role emphasizes containerization, Kubernetes deployment, and modern software practices within a collaborative team.

The ideal candidate has strong Java experience, familiarity with PostgreSQL/Oracle, REST APIs, and GitLab CI/CD. You will influence technical design decisions and contribute to modernizing a mission-critical system.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship is required.
• Active TS/SCI w/ polygraph.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or four additional years of relevant software engineering experience in lieu of a degree).
• Seven (7) or Fourteen (14) years’ experience as a SWE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
• Experience with Java, Spring Boot, Angular, Kubernetes, Docker, REST, PostgreSQL/Oracle, GitLab CI/CD.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a Spring Boot application processing terabytes of enterprise data weekly.
• Containerize and deploy the application on Kubernetes while ensuring scalability and reliability.
• Contribute to design decisions and modernization of a mission-critical system.
