Job summary

Leidos Inc in the Intelligence Sector's Cyber & Analytics Business Area (CABA) is seeking a Software Engineer to join an Agile team modernizing an enterprise Java application using Spring Boot, Angular, Docker and Kubernetes.

You will design RESTful APIs, implement data access services for Oracle and PostgreSQL, support containerization and DevSecOps practices, and contribute to architecture reviews and performance improvements. Active TS/SCI with polygraph is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• 7+ years of software engineering experience
• Active TS/SCI with polygraph security clearance

Responsibilities

• Analyze requirements to design, develop, test, and maintain Java and Angular applications.
• Create RESTful APIs and data access components for Oracle, PostgreSQL, and other databases.
• Modernize apps with Spring Boot migrations, microservices, and database modernization initiatives.
• Deploy containerized applications in Kubernetes across cloud and on-premises.
• Support CI/CD pipelines and maintain technical docs with Confluence and Jira.
• Provide backup database administration for Oracle, PostgreSQL, MariaDB.
