Ladders is seeking a Software Engineer III for remote US-based work. You will design and build scalable backend systems, own major services, and drive architecture decisions to ensure reliability and performance.

Collaboration with product and cross-functional teams will align technical solutions with business needs. You will mentor engineers and contribute to long-term system design, leveraging Java, APIs, cloud platforms, and observability tools to support high-availability digital experiences

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 5-8+ years of software engineering experience.
• Proven ownership of systems or services.
• Strong backend focus with Java, APIs, and services.
• Experience with cloud platforms, CI/CD, and observability tools.

For our client, we are seeking a Software Engineer III to join the team of a leader in the Media space. This role will focus on building and supporting high-performance backend systems that power core digital experiences in a media environment. You will own major service components, contribute to architecture decisions, and help ensure platform reliability, scalability, and observability. The position also partners closely with product, engineering, and other cross-functional teams to deliver technical solutions that align with business needs and long-term system design.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $110,000 - $130,000 annually

Responsibilities

Qualifications
