Job description

For our client, we are seeking a Principal Software Development Engineer to join the team of a leader in the Telecommunications & Hardware space. This role will help shape the technical direction of large-scale software solutions that support complex network and platform environments. You will lead development efforts across the software lifecycle, with a strong emphasis on scalability, security, reliability, and operational readiness. The position also partners closely with QA, engineering peers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality systems and improve engineering execution.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $188,926 - $296,269 annually

• Proficiency in cloud-native environments including Docker and Kubernetes
• History of leading complex technical initiatives from design through operational support
• Ability to troubleshoot urgent production issues and collaborate across teams
• Excellent communication skills to convey complex technical information and mentor others
