Job summary

AFFIRM is hiring a Software Engineer II for Marketing & Privacy Engineering. You’ll build high-traffic web experiences in a modern stack (React, TypeScript), partnering with product, design, analytics, and data teams to ship reliable experiences with privacy in mind.

You’ll influence experimentation, instrumentation, and marketing integrations, with opportunities to own systems at scale and grow technical breadth across GTM, analytics platforms, and marketing APIs.

Qualifications

• 1.5+ years of software engineering experience.
• Experience shipping web apps with React or Vue.
• Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Able to translate problems into multi-component solutions.
• Comfort debugging large codebases and reviewing others' code.
• Strong communication and ownership of growth.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.

Responsibilities

• Break down projects into tasks, deliver in phases, and collaborate for timely delivery.
• Collaborate with product, design, and analytics to discuss constraints and risks.
• Support operations by monitoring metrics and keeping systems available.
• Engage in growth activities, including participating in interviews.
