Job summary

AFFIRM is seeking a Software Engineer II to build high-traffic web experiences within the Marketing & Privacy Engineering (MPE) domain. You will work with React, TypeScript, and analytics integrations to enable measurement and privacy-conscious experiences.

You will collaborate with Product, Design, Analytics, and Data Engineering to ship reliable features, break down work, and own parts of the codebase from development through deployment. Remote-first with flexible in-person options.

Qualifications

• 1.5+ years of software engineering experience.
• Experience shipping web apps using declarative UI frameworks like React or Vue.
• Proficient in JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Able to design solutions spanning multiple components and write well-tested, extensible code.
• Strong collaboration and feedback through code reviews.

Responsibilities

• Break down projects into tasks and deliver in phases.
• Collaborate with product, design and analytics to align on scope and risks.
• Support operations, metrics, and on-call efforts for reliability.
• Contribute to team growth through mentoring and interviewing participation.
