Job summary

AFFIRM is hiring a Software Engineer II for Marketing & Privacy Engineering (MPE). You’ll build high-traffic web experiences in React/TypeScript, working with analytics, attribution, and tagging to enable sustainable growth while honoring privacy requirements.

You’ll collaborate with product, design, marketing, analytics, and data engineering to ship reliable experiences, own your growth, and contribute to a culture of code quality and cross-team feedback.

Qualifications

• 1.5+ years software engineering experience.
• Experience shipping web apps with declarative UI frameworks (React or Vue).
• Proficiency with JavaScript/TypeScript and modern web tooling.
• Ability to write clear, tested, extensible code across a modern web stack.

Responsibilities

• Break down projects into tasks and deliver in phases with timely cross-functional collaboration.
• Support product lifecycle with stakeholders, articulating constraints and trading off risks.
• Monitor and improve telemetry, reliability, and on-call readiness.
