Job summary

Immuta is hiring a Software Engineer II for the Request App Team to independently deliver moderately complex features that enhance data access workflows. You will contribute to backend services, frontend components, and secure, scalable solutions across diverse tech stacks.

You will collaborate with Product, Design, and Engineering partners to clarify requirements, participate in code reviews, and drive reliable, maintainable software in a hybrid environment with offices in Boston, Columbus, and

Qualifications

• Experience with TypeScript/JavaScript and modern frontend frameworks.
• Experience building APIs/services with NestJS or similar backend frameworks.
• Working knowledge of relational databases (PostgreSQL) and REST/microservices.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement backend services and APIs using TypeScript/NestJS and related technologies.
• Develop frontend features in Angular and integrate with shared design-system components.
• Own defined features and project work from design through deployment and follow-up improvements.
• Build workflow-driven functionality for data access requests and approvals.
• Improve performance and scalability through code/database optimizations.
• Write automated tests and participate in code reviews.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, and Engineering teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Contribute to CI/CD improvements and developer-experience initiatives.
