Qualifications

For our client, we are seeking a Software Engineer II, Backend (Purchasing Power - Core) to join the team of a leader in the Finance & Insurance space. This role will focus on building and improving backend systems that support core purchasing and payment experiences within a fast-moving financial services environment. You will work closely with product, design, and analytics partners to break down complex initiatives, ship reliable software in phases, and help shape the technical foundation behind key customer-facing workflows. The position also offers the opportunity to contribute to team operations, support on-call reliability, and strengthen engineering practices across a collaborative group.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $133,000 – $183,000 annually
