Job summary

Travelers is seeking a Software Engineer II to advance our Enterprise AI Products Value Stream. You will design, develop, and deploy AI-powered solutions that integrate with Lines of Business and drive measurable outcomes at speed.

You will collaborate with product owners, architects and platform teams to translate business problems into production-ready capabilities. You will work across AI platforms, tackle complex technical challenges, and mentor juniors while delivering high-quality software

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related STEM field.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deliver AI-powered solutions across a range of engagement types.
• Leverage enterprise AI capabilities including LLMs, agentic workflows, and cloud services (AWS/Azure).
• Lead design in partnership with architects, product owners, and technical leads.
• Own delivery end to end from scoping to deployment and knowledge transfer.
• Engage with stakeholders to inform AI roadmap and investments.
• Provide technical guidance to junior engineers as an informal lead.
• Demonstrate SME across multiple technology disciplines.
• Resolve defects and incidents of high complexity.
