Job summary

Travelers is seeking a Software Engineer II to join the Enterprise AI Products team in a hybrid role (CT Hartford or MN St. Paul).

You will design and deliver AI-powered solutions, collaborating with LOBs, architects and platform teams to produce measurable outcomes across the enterprise. You will work across AI capabilities, including LLM integrations, agentic workflows, and cloud services, while coaching junior engineers and ensuring code quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related STEM field; 4+ years software engineering experience.
• Proficiency in Python; experience in JavaScript/TypeScript or Java is a plus.
• Experience with AWS/Azure cloud services and Kubernetes required.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and deliver AI-powered solutions across enterprise engagements.
• Lead design with architects and product owners to translate business problems into technical solutions.
• Own end-to-end delivery from scoping to knowledge transfer.
• Collaborate with LOB stakeholders to inform AI product roadmap and investments.
