Assurity Life Insurance Company is seeking a Software Engineer II in Lincoln, NE. You will deliver AI-enabled software end-to-end, work with business users, and contribute to production-grade systems. Strong Python or TypeScript skills, REST APIs, and experience with CI/CD are expected.

Competenze

• Two or more years of professional software development experience.
• Hands-on model API integration, retrieval, tool calling, and evaluation.
• Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL or SQL Server) and web app development.
• Strong Python or TypeScript skills and experience with REST APIs.
• Ability to design and implement unit and integration tests; debugging and testing.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, source control, and containers.

• Deliver end-to-end solutions including AI agents in production, from concept to deployment.
• Work directly with business users; own stories and acceptance criteria.
• Build and maintain software documentation, tests, and reusable components.
• Promote changes through CI/CD pipelines; monitor and support production systems.
