Job summary

Assurity in Lincoln, NE is seeking a Software Engineer III to design and deliver AI-enabled applications and automation solutions. The role includes leading end-to-end initiatives, directing AI agents on development work, and ensuring secure, reliable production systems.

You will collaborate with Solutions Architects, drive design decisions, and coach teammates while using approved AI tools to maintain code quality and security across core systems.

Qualifications

• Typically 4+ years of professional software development experience.
• Experience designing components and system architecture.
• Experience leading small-to-mid initiatives from intake through rollout.
• Experience coaching or mentoring other engineers.
• Proficiency with REST APIs and web app development.

Responsibilities

• Own the system design for assigned application, platform, or system, and define service contracts.
• Deliver end-to-end AI/automation initiatives, from intake to rollout.
• Lead verification of AI-generated changes and write unit/integration tests.
• Operate CI/CD pipelines and monitor production readiness.
• Coach teammates and share best practices for agent-directed delivery.
