Job summary

RTX in Tucson, AZ is seeking a Software Engineer for the Test Solutions team within the Hardware Discipline Center. You will develop object‑oriented software in C# and C++ within Visual Studio, troubleshoot, and collaborate across engineering disciplines to deliver robust solutions.

The role involves working through Agile/Waterfall lifecycles, participating in demonstrations and design verification, and contributing to full lifecycle engineering activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) obtained prior to start.
• Experience with software development, testing, or integration using C, C++, Python, or Visual Basic.
• Experience with Windows Operating Systems and Microsoft Visual Studio.

Responsibilities

• Develop and integrate object‑oriented software applications using C# and C++ in Microsoft Visual Studio
• Troubleshoot and debug software to ensure functionality and reliability
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to develop and implement solutions
• Work within established software development lifecycles, including Agile and Waterfall methodologies
• Develop and derive requirements for software applications and systems
