Job summary

RTX's Test Solutions Engineering team in Tucson, AZ develops Windows-based software for high‑performance aerospace and defense systems. You will contribute to tools that support engineering labs, field operations and production environments.

You will develop object‑oriented apps with C# and C++, debug and troubleshoot, and work across the lifecycle in Agile and Waterfall processes, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. A STEM degree and experience in software development are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM required prior to start.
• Experience with C, C++, Python, or Visual Basic in development/tests.
• Familiarity with Windows and Visual Studio environments.
• Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and integrate object‑oriented software applications using C# and C++ in Visual Studio.
• Troubleshoot and debug software to ensure reliability across platforms.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to implement solutions.
• Follow Agile or Waterfall software lifecycles.
• Capture and derive requirements for software applications and systems.
