SpaceX is seeking a Software Engineer for the Supercomputer Network (Starlink) to design, build, and operate the lean Linux-based OS that underpins our AI-wide supercomputer network fabric. You will write high-performance device drivers and manage production deployments, aiming for maximal reliability and throughput.

You will collaborate with hardware teams to bring up OS/stack on new hardware, develop observability tools, and contribute to ongoing system hardening and security improvements.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, math, or science discipline or 2+ years of software development experience.
• Hands-on system programming experience in C or C++.

Responsabilidades

• Build and maintain the lean, high-reliability Linux-based operating system for the supercomputer network fabric.
• Write high-performance device drivers to maximize hardware capabilities.
• Manage deployment, operation, and debugging of the platform in production.
• Resolve anomalies, improve reliability, and develop observability/configuration tools.
• Collaborate with hardware teams to design next-gen hardware and bring up OS/stack on it.
