Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a Software Engineer, Network Firewall to help evolve our edge networking capabilities. You will work across technologies to deliver features, improve performance, and scale Network Services products across north-south and east-west architectures.

The role requires experience with distributed systems, Go or Rust, and networking protocols. You will design RESTful APIs, build high-performance security tooling, and collaborate with product managers to solve

Qualifications

Experience building large-scale, distributed systems.
Proficiency in Go and/or Rust is valuable.
Expertise in L3/L4 networking protocols; L2 is valuable.
Experience with network security products (firewalls, IDS/IPS, DDoS mitigation).
Low-latency userspace packet processing knowledge and Linux networking primitives.
Designing and integrating RESTful APIs and backend systems.
Experience with large-scale distributed data pipelines and querying.
Strong debugging, profiling and optimization for high-throughput systems.

Responsibilities

Deliver new features, improve performance, and increase scalability of Network Services products.
Evolve the Network Firewall and security capabilities across north-south and east-west architectures.
Build, deploy, and operate your team’s systems on the edge network.
Collaborate with engineers and product managers to solve meaningful, real-world problems.
