Job summary

RTX in Cedar Rapids is seeking talented students for an internship in the Common Simulation Environment team. You will design, develop, and test applications that simulate avionics sensor behavior to support Collins Avionics products.

You’ll join a scrum team, learn to debug on the System Integration Laboratory, and collaborate with engineers, management, and customers to ensure timely program delivery.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's or advanced degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
• Experience with C/C++ and Python scripting.
• Currently enrolled through the internship/co-op term.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test applications to simulate avionics sensors behavior.
• Assist debugging to identify root causes and propose solutions.
• Collaborate with teammates, management, and customers.
• Support program leads with budget and schedule data for programs.
• Work with engineers to shape the avionics simulation platform.
