Job summary

RTX, an aerospace and defense leader, invites students to join the Common Simulation Environment team to design, develop, and test avionics-sensor simulation applications, supporting Collins Avionics products on real programs. You will work on a scrum team, debug lab issues, and help manage budgets and schedules.

The role requires pursuing a Bachelor's or advanced degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering, with minimum 60 credit hours, plus Python and C/C++ skills.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering with at least 60 credit hours.
• Strong experience with C/C++ and Python scripting.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test avionics sensor simulation applications.
• Aid debugging to determine root causes and propose solutions.
• Interact with teammates, management, and customers.
• Assist Program Leads with budget and schedule data for programs.
• Collaborate with a team to shape the avionics simulation platform.
