Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Support the administration and maintenance of the ServiceNow platform (users, roles, groups, ACLs, and basic system configuration).
• Assist in configuring workflows, business rules, UI policies, client scripts, and data policies.
• Support Service Catalog configuration, including catalog items, record producers, and approvals.
• Develop integrations using REST/SOAP under supervision.
• Support upgrades, patch validation, and release-related activities.
• Contribute technical documentation, configuration guides, and knowledge articles.
• Collaborate with functional and technical teams to translate business requirements into system configurations.
• Follow ServiceNow best practices to ensure scalable, secure, and upgrade-safe solutions.

The Junior Technical Consultant (Jr TC) supports the administration, configuration, and continuous improvement of the ServiceNow platform. This position contributes to delivering scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions aligned with business requirements and ServiceNow best practices. The Jr TC assists with platform configuration, basic development, and system administration activities, helping ensure optimal platform performance and effective business process automation. This role also contributes to successful project delivery while adhering to governance and service management standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Primary focus area: ServiceNow ITSM.
• Support the administration and maintenance of the ServiceNow platform (users, roles, groups, ACLs, and basic system configuration).
• Assist in configuring workflows, business rules, UI policies, client scripts, and data policies.
• Support Service Catalog configuration, including catalog items, record producers, and approvals.
• Participate in the development and customization of solutions using Flow Designer and standard platform capabilities.
• Monitor platform performance and assist in troubleshooting and resolving issues.
• Support testing activities, including unit testing, UAT coordination, and defect resolution.
• Assist in upgrades, patch validation, and release-related activities.
• Contribute technical documentation, configuration guides, and knowledge articles.
• Collaborate with functional and technical teams to translate business requirements into system configurations.
• Follow ServiceNow best practices to ensure scalable, secure, and upgrade-safe solutions
• Assist in developing integrations using REST/SOAP under supervision.
• Support data imports using Transform Maps and Data Sources.

Your Expertise: Education:

Bachelor’s or master’s degree from an accredited program in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Engineering or related discipline

Experience:

Hands-on design, development, and deployment experience with the ServiceNow platform for 2+ years (and/or experience with similar ITSM toolsets for 2+ years).

Minimum Required Skills:

• Experience delivering effective technical solutions to business requirements, with working knowledge of IT Service Management (ITIL) processes, metrics, and KPIs.
• Working knowledge of technical components such as LDAP, VPN, SSL, and related infrastructure technologies.
• Ability to produce clear and structured documentation at both technical and customer-facing levels.
• Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
