Job summary

Innoflight LLC in San Diego invites applications for a Manufacturing Test Engineer II (Software) to bridge engineering development and production. You will design, deploy, and optimize automated production test systems and scalable software that interfaces with ATE and lab hardware.

You will drive improvements in FPY and cycle times, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to scalable architectures for current and future programs while ensuring quality and repeatability.

Qualifications

• Experience designing automated production test software.
• Proficient in Python for test automation.
• Ability to analyze production data and drive improvements.
• Demonstrated cross-functional collaboration with engineering and manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Develops Production Test Systems: designs and maintains automated test software and ATPs.
• Builds Test Automation: creates Python-based automation interfacing with ATE and instruments.
• Resolves Manufacturing Test Issues: conducts root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Optimizes Manufacturing Performance: analyzes FPY, reduces cycle times, improves quality.
• Supports New Product Introduction: collaborates across teams to integrate new products.
• Develops Scalable Test Architectures: creates modular software for multiple programs.
• Supports Production Operations: guides technicians and updates documentation.
• Communicates Technical Results: presents test results and improvements.
