Job summary

Amazon Leo is recruiting a Software Development Manager to own the team roadmap and drive priority-driven delivery of distributed software for mission-critical automation across ground and space systems. You will mentor engineers, define objectives, and ensure software quality and on-time delivery.

You will lead the ACE team responsible for device configurations and assets, collaborating with multiple teams to scale and optimize the tooling platform used for launch, rehearsals, and on-orbit

Qualifications

3+ years of engineering team management experience.
7+ years working directly within engineering teams.
3+ years designing or architecting scalable systems.
Experience partnering with product or program management teams.

Responsibilities

Build, lead and manage a diverse team of engineers.
Provide technical guidance for the team to meet objectives.
Define team growth expectations and org strategy.
Coordinate internal and external resources for success.
Communicate across teams to identify and address product risks.
Juggle priorities while optimizing system and schedule.
Apply critical thinking in complex, ambiguous environments.
