Job summary

Amazon is hiring a Software Development Manager for Ads AI Core Services to lead a team of engineers building AI-native development tools that accelerate delivery for 5,000+ Ads engineers. You will mentor and scale teams, own architecture decisions, and partner with senior leaders to drive adoption of agentic systems.

You’ll influence across Ads organizations, focus on measurable impact on builder productivity, and communicate progress with clear PRFAQs and design docs while shipping high

Qualifications

• 5+ years of engineering team leadership and delivery experience.
• 7+ years working directly within engineering teams.
• 3+ years designing or architecting scalable systems.
• 8+ years leading the definition and development of multi-tier web services.
• Knowledge of full software lifecycle, CI/CD, and live-site ops.
• Experience partnering with product or program management teams.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and lead an engineering team to solve AI-native development problems.
• Improve builder productivity via code review velocity, deployment frequency, and time-to-production.
• Partner with executive stakeholders to evangelize AI-native practices.
• Champion AI-native development across AIGC with demos and success stories.
• Collaborate with product, platform, and partner engineering teams to define requirements.
• Make data-driven decisions by analyzing performance, adoption, and feedback.
• Communicate strategy and execution clearly to engineers and leadership.
