Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. is seeking a Software Development Manager to lead the Specialist AI Tooling engineering team within the STT. You will oversee four AI-native products, shaping agentic systems and scalable AI features for thousands of AWS specialists daily.

You will mentor a high-performing team, drive architecture decisions, and partner with product and field leadership to translate complex problems into tangible engineering deliverables at AWS scale.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of engineering team management experience.
• 7+ years of engineering experience.
• 6+ years leading the definition and development of multi-tier web services.
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Own and grow a team of Software Development Engineers responsible for four interconnected AI-powered products.
• Architect and ship production agentic AI systems using LLMs, knowledge graphs, RAG, and multi-agent orchestration.
• Build, manage, and develop a high-performing SDE team with a culture of ownership and operational excellence.
• Drive evolution of intelligent routing and GenAI summarization pipelines across AWS specialist ecosystem.
