Job summary

Amazon Advertising is seeking a Senior Software Development Engineer to join the Campaign Management team. You will design scalable APIs serving millions of advertisers, build MCP server infrastructure delivering advertiser context with sub-second latency, and establish patterns for a high-scale global ads experience.

You will collaborate with Product teams to deliver delightful experiences, mentor engineers, and help drive reliability and performance across a cloud-based, data-driven stack.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• 5+ years programming in at least one language.
• 5+ years leading design or architecture of systems.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable architectures for APIs serving millions of advertisers at thousands of transactions per second.
• Build Model Context Protocol (MCP) server infrastructure delivering advertiser context with sub-second latency and minimal token consumption.
• Establish system design patterns and best practices for global ads experience at scale.
• Partner with Product teams to deliver delightful experiences.
