Job summary

Amazon Leo seeks a Software Development Manager to build and lead an engineering team delivering customer-facing products across B2C and B2B. You will own end-to-end product delivery, guide architectural decisions, and mentor engineers in a fast-moving environment with a clear path to broader leadership.

You will collaborate with PMs, UX, TPMs and operations to raise customer experience and operational efficiency while scaling systems for global use.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of engineering team management
• 7+ years working directly within engineering teams
• 3+ years designing or architecting systems
• 8+ years leading multi-tier web services
• Experience partnering with product or program teams

Responsibilities

• Aid in the design and delivery of AI-powered tooling and foundational infrastructure
• Develop a strategic plan for team growth and organizational impact
• Hire and develop a diverse team of software engineers
• Mentor new team members and drive architectural decisions
• Establish engineering best practices for scalable, reliable systems
