Job summary

Amazon's Leo Commerce engineering team in Redmond is seeking a Software Development Engineer to design and implement telecom components and services, collaborating with satellite, networks and security teams.

You will work with product managers, UX designers, marketing, and backend commerce services to translate customer needs into scalable, cross-device solutions, while leveraging AI tools to accelerate delivery and improve infrastructure.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 2+ years of design or architecture experience (design patterns, reliability and scaling).
• 1+ years of software development engineer or related experience.
• 1+ years of designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered software applications using C#, C++, Java, or Perl.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement telecom components, applications and services.
• Partner with Satellite, Networks and Security engineering teams.
• Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, marketing, and backend commerce service teams to translate customer needs into scalable solutions across devices and browsers.
• Leverage AI tools and AWS services to accelerate feature delivery and improve infrastructure.
• Participate in code reviews and coach others on frontend best practices and UI patterns.
• Write clear documentation and train new team members on construction, testing, and operation of software.
