Job summary

Vantor is seeking a Software Developer to support an IC mission in a DoD/IC environment. You will work independently and in cross-functional teams to understand complex concepts and present recommendations to leadership. On-site support at DoD/IC locations is highly desirable.

Applicants must hold active TS/SCI clearance with CI poly and have a driving record of delivering robust software in front-end, back-end, or full-stack roles; RD/architecture planning and agile execution are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have active TS/SCI security clearance and be willing/able to obtain CI Polygraph.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, sciences, CS, Physics, Applied Mathematics, or related field; 4 years of experience may substitute for degree.
• 6 years of relevant software development, technology, engineering, or science experience.
• Ability to communicate highly technical analyses to non-technical audiences and senior government representatives.
• Experience developing and deploying software in front-end, back-end, or full-stack roles.

Responsibilities

• Enable the development of system architectures, software systems, or applications.
• Develop new software from algorithms and prototypes.
• Collaborate with program teams to plan future operations.
• Apply and improve agile development methodologies and tools.
• Support sensor systems design, fielding, and DoD/IC missions.
• Compile complex product information to inform leadership on risks and success chances.
• Brief customers and leadership on modeling efforts, results, and recommendations.
