The position requires an active TS/SCI clearance and a BA/BS in a relevant field, with 5+ years of software engineering experience and strong C++ skills.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI security clearance with eligibility for SCI.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in software engineering, scientific programming, algorithm implementation, or related fields.
• Strong software development experience in C++, with emphasis on building reliable production software.
• Experience developing, integrating, or supporting microservices in production environments.
• Experience with Git-based version control systems (GitHub/GitLab/Bitbucket).
• Strong debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Ability to work in a mission-focused environment with high reliability and operational expectations.

Responsibilities

• Convert algorithm definitions and prototypes into robust software applications for large image and sensor data sets.
• Develop production-quality software that is reliable, maintainable, and performant.
• Apply development standards and processes to produce high-quality software packages.
• Build, maintain, and improve automated test, verification, and validation tools.
• Debug, refactor, and modernize existing codebases for new systems and platforms.
• Participate in full software development lifecycle from planning to maintenance.
• Collaborate with algorithm developers, systems engineers, testers, and stakeholders to deliver mission-ready capabilities.
