Job summary

Dezign Concepts seeks an Enterprise Applications & IT Support Engineer in Chantilly, VA to modernize and support mission-critical talent systems. You will build Java web services, APIs, and datastores while advancing UX/UI and enterprise tooling across Tier 1–3 support.

Responsibilities include designing, delivering, and maintaining enterprise applications, securing accreditation, and producing clear technical documentation and workflows to drive efficiency and compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience implementing accessibility standards and agile methodology.
• Experience delivering web-based applications, systems, and services that provide business value and improved UX/UI.
• Experience documenting web-based apps, systems, services, and interfaces (databases and APIs) for future development decisions.
• Java development experience across web-based applications and services.
• Experience across the full accreditation lifecycle.
• Experience managing Tier 1–3 support via service management systems.
• Experience developing IT support documentation (SOPs, workflows, knowledge bases, checklists, security plans).

The Mission

Support a team building an integrated enterprise IT support model designed to drive efficiencies across the talent space and better address strategic requirements associated with learning, training compliance, foreign-language development and retention, job advertisements, selection, and performance.

What You Will Champion

• Bring technical depth, service leadership, and a user-first mindset to every stage of the enterprise application lifecycle.
• Design & Deliver Analyze, document, develop, and modernize web applications, services, databases, and APIs—with hands-on Java development.
• Secure & Support Lead the accreditation lifecycle and manage service delivery across Tier 1, Tier 2, and Tier 3 support.
• Improve & Sustain Advance UX/UI, accessibility, agile delivery, documentation, patching, licensing, and version administration.

Mandatory Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience implementing industry best practices and technical solutions consistent with accessibility standards and agile methodology.
• Demonstrated experience recommending solutions that deliver business value, improve UX/UI, reduce O&M, increase quality and delivery speed, and transform or modernize web-based applications, systems, and services.
• Demonstrated experience analyzing and documenting web-based applications, systems, services, and their interfaces—including databases and web services/APIs—to support future-development decisions.
• Demonstrated experience developing web-based applications, systems, services, and associated database and web service/API interfaces. This experience must include Java development.
• Demonstrated experience across the full accreditation lifecycle.
• Demonstrated experience managing Tier 1, Tier 2, and Tier 3 support through service management systems.
• Demonstrated experience developing IT support documentation, including SOPs, digital IT workflows, knowledge-base content, pre- and post-deployment checklists, IT architectural diagrams, system security plans, and administrative processes.
• Demonstrated experience developing and maintaining enterprise software, including license renewals where applicable, patching, and version-update administration.
