Job summary

Cleared Solutions Inc. seeks a Java Software Developer to design, build, and maintain mission-critical web applications in a fast-paced, agile environment, leveraging full-stack skills and cloud-based infrastructure.

The role requires strong Java/Javascript, Spring frameworks, and secure coding practices, with experience in intelligence/community domains; U.S. citizenship and active TS/SCI with polygraph clearance are required. You will mentor junior developers and support security documentation.

Qualifications

• We are seeking U.S. Citizenship with active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
• Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems, Information Technology, or closely-related field.
• Minimum 7 years experience (at least 3 years in the IC) developing, securing, integrating, deploying, maintaining, and evaluating software and systems.

Responsibilities

• Architect, build, maintain, deploy, and administer mission software and web applications.
• Participate in design reviews and demonstrations; mentor junior developers.
• Contribute to security authorization documentation and ensure quality throughout the development lifecycle.

Position Title: Java Software Developer

Level: Mid to Senior

Location: Chantilly/Reston

Description

Candidate will work closely with a diverse client project team responsible for architecting, building, maintaining, deploying, and/or administering mission software and web applications. The development environment is fast-paced, spans the full application stack, and increasingly leverages agile development methodologies, modern development tools and processes, and an expanding cloud-based infrastructure. Responsibilities include: identify system scope and objectives; determine system equipment capacity, operating parameters, and throughput; prepare detailed specifications; design, code, test, and debug; perform quality assurance reviews; contribute to development of security authorization documentation; represent program in design reviews and demonstrations; and mentor junior developers.

Qualifications

• Clearance: Positions require U.S. Citizenship and active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph
• Degree: Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems, Information Technology, or a closely-related Engineering or IT discipline
• Certifications: None required
• Experience: Minimum 7 years (at least 3 years in the IC) developing, securing, integrating, deploying, maintaining, and evaluating software and systems
