Dezign Concepts, LLC is hiring a Senior Windows & Linux Systems Engineer to administer and secure mission-critical Windows and Linux environments, spanning databases, certificates, virtualization, storage, networks, and accreditation processes.

The role focuses on delivering dependable systems engineering across secure enterprise environments, supporting accreditation activities, managing certificates, and strengthening virtualization and storage infrastructure behind critical mission outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience with Windows engineering and administration including MSSQL and AD CS.
• Experience with A&A processes to accredit security-controlled systems.
• Experience with Linux engineering and administration.

Responsibilities

• Administer Windows Server, Linux, MSSQL, AD CS, VM clusters, Hyper-V, VMware, and DPM.
• Support A&A, certificate management, hardware security modules, and secure data transfers.
• Strengthen networks, storage, automation, and continuity of operations.

The Mission

Deliver dependable systems engineering and administration across secure enterprise environments. Maintain Windows and Linux platforms, support accreditation activities, manage certificates and protected data, and strengthen the virtualized, networked, and storage infrastructure behind critical mission outcomes.

Your Impact

Apply broad platform expertise, sound security judgment, and collaborative leadership to keep complex systems resilient and mission-ready.

Platform Engineering Administer Windows Server, Linux, MSSQL, Active Directory, Group Policy, WSUS, VM clusters, Hyper-V, VMware, and DPM.

Security & Accreditation Support A&A, certificate management, hardware security modules, sensitive-data handling, and secure data transfers.

Enterprise Resilience Strengthen Cisco networks, NetApp SANs, automation, program support, documentation, knowledge sharing, and continuity of operations.

Mandatory Skills & Experience

• Demonstrated experience with Windows systems engineering and administration, including MSSQL databases, Active Directory Certificate Services (ADCS), VM clusters, Hyper-V, Data Protection Manager, and PowerShell scripting.
• Demonstrated experience with Assessment and Authorization (A&A) processes to accredit security-controlled systems.
• Demonstrated experience with Linux systems engineering and administration.

Desired Skills & Experience

• Demonstrated experience with security-controlled systems, CipherTrust enterprise hardware security modules, software, and data architecture.
• Demonstrated experience as a data transfer officer with security-controlled systems.
• Demonstrated experience as an Oracle Linux Systems Administrator.
• Demonstrated experience with Cisco switches and security appliances, including ASAs, StealthWatch, and Tetration.
• Demonstrated experience managing NetApp storage area networks (SANs).
• Demonstrated experience with certificate management for users, servers, and service accounts.
• Demonstrated experience cross-skilling and backfilling for teammates.
• Demonstrated experience handling sensitive data, exercising discretion and sound judgment, and achieving mission outcomes.
• Preferred certification: Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) Database Administrator.
• Demonstrated experience with the Sponsor's security-controlled systems, software, and data architecture.
• Demonstrated experience with the Sponsor's Assessment and Authorization (A&A) processes.
• Demonstrated experience as a data transfer officer with the Sponsor's security-controlled systems.
• Demonstrated experience with IT program management and support.
