Job summary

RCT Systems is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to support a large identity and access management program in Reston, VA. The role focuses on entitlement management, authentication/authorization, and policy-driven solutions, with a strong emphasis on full-stack development.

The candidate will modernize legacy apps, build REST APIs, and work in AWS environments, following Agile practices. A TS/SCI with polygraph or related security clearances are often required for this program.

Qualifications

• BS degree required and 16+ years relevant experience.
• Strong Java, Spring Boot, Angular/TypeScript, and AWS.
• Experience translating customer requirements into technical solutions.
• Experience with Git, Jenkins, Selenium, and Rundeck.
• Red Hat Linux command-line experience.

Core Responsibilities

• Maintain and modernize legacy applications
• Develop Java/Spring Boot and Angular/TypeScript
• Build and consume REST APIs
• Work with AWS/EC2 and write deployment/configuration scripts
