Job summary

RCT Systems seeks a Software Developer to support and modernize enterprise PKI and IdAM systems, building cloud-based applications for government networks in an Agile Scrum environment.

You will develop Java/Spring Boot backends on AWS, design REST APIs, and contribute to security-focused deployments, with on-call support and cross-functional collaboration.

Candidates should have TS/SCI with Polygraph, a BS degree, 3–5 years’ experience, and strong Linux, scripting, and SQL skills.

Seeking a Software Developer to support and modernize enterprise Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) and Identity & Access Management (IdAM) systems. You'll work on legacy modernization and new secure systems in an Agile Scrum environment, developing cloud-based applications for mission-critical government networks.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Java/Spring Boot backend applications on AWS
• Build and enhance enterprise PKI and IdAM systems
• Design and develop REST APIs and system integrations
• Participate in Agile Scrum (3-week sprints, backlog grooming, planning)
• Write deployment and automation scripts for AWS EC2 and CloudFormation
• Collaborate with product owners, engineers, testers, and security teams
• Support production systems through an on-call rotation (~1 week every 3 months)
