Job summary

RCT Systems is seeking a Senior Software Developer (Full Stack) to support a large federal program in Reston, VA. You will build and modernize Java/Spring Boot and Angular/TypeScript applications, develop APIs, and push secure, scalable solutions for identity/access management, authentication, and entitlements.

You will write deployment scripts for AWS EC2, collaborate with data-engineering teams, and participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI + Poly clearance required.
• BS degree.
• 4–10 years relevant experience.
• Experience with Java, Spring Boot, Angular/TypeScript, AWS, and full-stack development.
• Experience translating customer requirements into working solutions.

• Reston, VA

Senior full-stack developer supporting a large (200+ person) federal technical program focused on identity/access management, authentication, authorization, entitlements, and digital policy management. The job involves modernizing legacy systems while maintaining secure and reliable applications.

Core technical skills:

• Java + Spring Boot
• Angular / TypeScript
• AWS , including EC2
• RESTful API development
• Full-stack development
• Legacy application maintenance and modernization
• ETL development
• Linux command line (Red Hat)
• Git, Jenkins, Selenium, Rundeck
• Unit testing, automated testing, and code reviews
• Agile/Scrum

Day-to-day work:
