Job summary

RCT Systems is seeking a Software Developer to support and modernize enterprise PKI and IdAM systems. You will work on legacy modernization and build new secure cloud-based applications for government networks in an Agile Scrum environment.

Responsibilities include developing Java/Spring Boot backends on AWS, designing REST APIs, scripting deployment tasks with CloudFormation, and collaborating with cross‑functional teams. Expect on‑call rotations and a focus on security and reliability.

Qualifications

• BS degree + 3–5 years of software development experience.
• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph.
• Strong experience with Java, Spring Boot, AWS.
• Proficient in REST API development.
• Git experience.
• CloudFormation knowledge.
• XML, JSON, YAML experience.
• PostgreSQL/MySQL (SQL/PLSQL).
• Experience designing scalable distributed systems.

Seeking a Software Developer to support and modernize enterprise Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) and Identity & Access Management (IdAM) systems. You'll work on legacy modernization and new secure systems in an Agile Scrum environment, developing cloud-based applications for mission-critical government networks.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Java/Spring Boot backend applications on AWS
• Build and enhance enterprise PKI and IdAM systems
• Design and develop REST APIs and system integrations
• Participate in Agile Scrum (3-week sprints, backlog grooming, planning)
• Write deployment and automation scripts for AWS EC2 and CloudFormation
