Job summary

LMI seeks a Software Configuration Technician to support the U.S. Army’s Holistic Health & Fitness initiative as part of the H2F Program Support Team.

The role centers on software configuration management, build coordination, version control, and release support for the H2F Management System. This position emphasizes documentation, process support, and alignment with Government guidance, under TPM coordination.

Qualifications

• Experience in managing software configurations and supporting technical environments.
• Familiarity with version control and release processes.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams and obtain/maintain a Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Support configuration management activities, including version control, baselining, and change tracking for software components.
• Maintain configuration records and repositories in accordance with approved processes.
• Assist with tracking configuration items and dependencies across software components.
• Support coordination of software builds, packaging, and releases as directed.
• Assist in preparing release notes, change logs, and deployment documentation.
• Coordinate with software engineers to ensure releases align with approved schedules.
• Maintain configuration documentation, records, and artifacts required for Government review.
• Support audit readiness by ensuring configuration records are complete and up to date.
• Assist in preparing materials for reviews, demonstrations, or inspections.
• Coordinate with software engineers, data teams, and analytics staff to support configuration-related needs.
• Support TPM tracking of configuration-related tasks, issues, and dependencies.
• Communicate configuration status and issues clearly to team members and leadership.
