Fairygodboss is seeking a Configuration Management Support professional in Bedford, MA. The Configuration Management Support position is responsible for supporting configuration management processes related to product design changes and overall system integrity. This role ensures accurate configuration identification and control by reviewing design release documentation for completeness, accuracy, and proper authorization. Responsibilities may include coordinating change management activities, maintaining configuration records, and preparing deviations and waivers for government approval when specifications cannot be fully met. The position works closely with engineering, program management, quality, and customer stakeholders to ensure compliance with contractual and organizational requirements. This role leads select operations within the configuration management area and has a significant impact on program and operational results. It includes resolving complex or unclear configuration issues, analyzing impacts across multiple areas, and supporting continuous process improvement efforts. The Configuration Management Support professional is also expected to assist in training and guiding junior support staff while applying prior experience, analytical skills, and attention to detail to ensure effective configuration control and program success.
