You will reconcile entitlements, investigate discrepancies, and maintain information across applications and contracts, while importing Excel data and validating results.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of SAM/ITAM or related experience.
• Strong data reconciliation skills and attention to detail.
• Hands-on ServiceNow or ability to learn quickly.
• Advanced Excel skills with large datasets and formulas.

GTN is currently hiring for a Software Asset Management (SAM) Analyst – ServiceNow*

Location: Houston, TX

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented SAM Analyst to support software-license reconciliation and maintain accurate records in ServiceNow.

This is an early-career opportunity focused on hands‑on data management, vendor coordination, and audit support. Experience with ServiceNow SAM Pro is especially valuable.

What You’ll Do

• Reconcile software entitlements against supplier records, contracts, invoices, and ServiceNow data.
• Investigate discrepancies, correct incomplete records, and document resolutions.
• Maintain application, entitlement, and contract information in ServiceNow.
• Import and normalize Excel data, map fields, and validate results.
• Access vendor portals to obtain license documentation, invoices, and proof of entitlement.
• Maintain audit evidence and improve recurring reconciliation processes.

What You’ll Bring

• 2–5 years of relevant SAM, ITAM, software licensing, vendor management, or CMDB experience.
• Strong data reconciliation skills and attention to detail.
• Hands‑on ServiceNow experience or the ability to learn the platform quickly.
• Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, filters, and large datasets.
• Clear communication and the ability to organize recurring work across multiple vendors.

Preferred:

ServiceNow SAM Pro, software licensing knowledge, vendor portal experience, and exposure to software audits or internal controls.
