Job summary

Insight Global is seeking an experienced IT Asset Management professional to lead the full lifecycle of IT and telecom assets, manage vendor contracts and renewals, and drive software licensing compliance. This role supports CMDB initiatives and partners with purchasing on RFPs/RFQs/SOWs.

Ideal candidates will have 8+ years in configuration or asset management in enterprise environments, strong licensing administration skills, and hands-on ServiceNow experience, including SAM Pro.

Qualifications

• 8 years of related work experience in Configuration Management, Vendor Management, IT Sourcing, IT Asset Management or an IT technical support role required.
• Strong Software Licensing administration experience.
• Experience with ServiceNow platform including SAM Pro.

Job Description

Responsible for managing the full lifecycle of IT and telecom assets, sourcing, vendor relationships, contracts, and software licensing. This role will support IT Asset and Configuration Management strategy, lead CMDB planning and asset lifecycle initiatives, manage vendor agreements and renewals, and partner with Corporate Purchasing on RFPs, RFIs, RFQs, and SOWs. Additional responsibilities include establishing supplier and SLA requirements, evaluating hardware and software standards, maintaining licensing compliance, and identifying cost-effective asset utilization and purchasing strategies.

Skills and Requirements

• 8 years of related work experience in Configuration Management, Vendor Management, IT Sourcing, IT Asset Management or an IT technical support role required.
• Software Licensing administration experience
• Strong Experience utilizing/working within the ServiceNow platform
• Experience in an enterprise level environment with around 800-1000+ software licenses
• Servicenow SAM pro experience
• Experience entering entitlements into SAM Pro-ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
