You will model exceptional customer service and mentor staff to exceed goals. Responsibilities include P&L management, shrink reduction, and ensuring safe, compliant operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or its equivalent required.
• 2-3 years of related retail experience.
• One year of management experience.
• Rotational assignments in other store areas; customer service and product flow experience helpful.
• Ability to communicate clearly and resolve conflict.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and analyze financial data.
• Experience teaching suggestive selling and mentoring team members.
• Completion of required certifications.

Responsibilities

• Staffing, selection and hiring to meet staffing needs.
• Mentor and coach team members; drive customer service and sales.
• Maintain store appearance and product presentation to standards.
• Oversee P&L, shrink control and department sales targets.
• Promote Meijer Friendly Initiative in meetings and operations.
• Ensure safety and training completion; communicate with customers and staff.
• Handle disciplinary actions and promote career development.
