Job summary

Shaw Industries is seeking a Soft Surface Territory Manager for Central Florida to grow market share and profitability across residential and commercial markets. You will conduct daily sales calls, present Shaw’s carpet and flooring products to dealers, designers, and end-users, and manage display installations and samples.

A high school diploma or GED is required, with prior sales experience. The role requires lifting up to 50 lbs, driving a SUV/van, and strong computer skills including MS

Qualifications

• Prior sales experience required.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and operate a vehicle for territory work.

Responsibilities

• Daily sales calls on existing customers with emphasis on soft surface flooring products.
• Present products to retail dealers, designers, and end-users and analyze leads.
• Sell and construct display racks and related fixtures; manage samples and displays.
• Prospect for new accounts within the Central Florida territory.
• Prepare reports of sales activity and territory performance.
• Communicate periodic sales reports and market conditions to management.
• Analyze sales data to set goals and support dealers.
• Monitor travel and entertainment expenses and sample budgets.
• Enter customer interactions into Salesforce.com.
• Sell residential products like Shaw Floors and educate customers.
