Maximus is seeking a Data Scientist II to support the POTFF program for USSOCOM, applying advanced analytics and ML to improve SOF service members' and families' well-being. U.S.

citizenship and a Secret clearance are required, with the position contingent on contract award. The role involves hands-on data analysis, NLP, feature engineering, and close collaboration with product and engineering teams to design experiments and MVPs.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher in a quantitative field.
• 3+ years of research experience in relevant settings.
• Proficiency in Python, R, and statistical packages.
• Experience with data visualization and dashboard tools.
• Active U.S. citizenship and Secret clearance eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on data analysis and modeling with large data sets.
• Apply NLP and ML to improve personalization algorithms.
• Collaborate with product, software, and design teams on experiments and MVPs.
• Discover, access, clean, and preprocess data to model-ready state.
• Run A/B tests and communicate insights to stakeholders.
