Job summary

Knowesis is seeking a Data Scientist I to support the USSOCOM POTFF program, identifying innovative data solutions to improve the well-being of SOF personnel and their families. The role involves capturing data, performing analytics, and delivering insights across POTFF domains with onsite work at Hurlburt Field, FL. A Secret clearance and U.S.

citizenship are required. The position emphasizes data analysis, dashboards, survey design, and collaboration with POTFF staff and biostatisticians.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in quantitative science, social science, or related field.
Basic proficiency with Word, Excel, and Access.
Basic proficiency with SPSS, SAS, Python, and R-Shiny.
Fluent English communication.
Detail-oriented with strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

Conduct basic data analytics, data manipulation, data mining, exploratory analysis, predictive analysis, and statistical analysis.
Enter and analyze data within government systems.
Maintain dashboards to automate data analysis and present trends.
Assist POTFF staff with survey design and report survey data.
Provide consultation to identify data opportunities related to POTFF programs.
Collaborate with POTFF staff and government biostatistician.
Provide SME in program evaluation, research methods, and data analysis.
Use statistics and visualization to produce reports and presentations showing data trends.
