Job summary

The Bronx Transitions Program at Good Shepherd Services, Ltd. in New York seeks a Social Work Supervisor to ensure that clinical casework and case management meet high professional standards and comply with ACS policies and contractual commitments.

Lead a multidisciplinary staff team, oversee intake and assignment, accompany workers on home visits and court hearings, and ensure accurate, timely documentation while promoting strength‑based, trauma‑informed practice.

Qualifications

• Master's in Social Work required; NYS licensure preferred (LMSW/LMHC/LCAT).
• Three years of related child welfare experience required.
• Strong organizational, administrative and supervision skills; bilingual skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operation of the prevention program in collaboration with the Program Director.
• Recruit, hire, onboard and supervise staff; ensure quality counseling, case management and documentation.
• Lead home visits, safety conferences, court hearings and counseling sessions as needed.
• Monitor data requests, coordinate with ACS and GSS partners, and ensure safety decisions.
• Coordinate intake, supervise staff, and support SBC implementation across supervision sessions.
• Conduct annual performance evaluations and guide staff training needs.
